There has been post after post on this issue, and everyone has their own "favorite" and it really is all about what fits YOU best, but I can give you my honest review/opinion.
I have tried the Motorola HS820 and HS850 and although they work fairly descent, the fit is horrible! They don't stay put and feel like they are going to fly off with the slightest movement of your head! There is a lot of talk on here about the Cardo Scala 500 being so good, but I got it and tried it and it was absolutely the WORST headset I have ever tried! Major static, sound kept cutting out, just horrible, yet others really like it and it works fine for them. I now use the Jabra BT250V, which I LOVE. Fit is great, sound is awesome, usually no static at all,...

Went thru HS850, BT250v & M2500. Moto worked good except couldn't deal with the delay. The Jabra & Plantronics, voice command couldn't find anything after 3 days. I have had the Scala 500 now for 2 1/2 weeks. Clear-both ends, no delay, voice command excellent, comfortable and haven't had to recharge it yet. Location is big factor. Other people with Scala experience static. I am in NJ and have never had static or volume problems, with any of the headsets. 🙄 🙄

I'm not so sure that location is a factor at all. The only way location would be a factor is if your talking about the location of your phone to your headset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LG senior tech told this to me. The phone emits the same signal to all headsets. You said you had static & dropped calls. I don't and NEVER had on any headset I tried. So what then????

I don't know. All worked great for me too-both Motorolas and Jabra-just not the Cardo Scala, that one was horrible, which convinces me that it was just the Scala that was bad.

Maybe just had a bad unit. The Jabra was real good till the voice command went loco. Had techs check phone. They said fine, hardware & software. Replaced the headset - twice. Immediately got same results. I would say the techs were full of s**t, (has to be in phone) but voice command works perfectly with the Moto and the Scala. Ghost in the phone? Voice just won't work.

SCALA=Most comfortable of all, but echo heard by callers, and not as loud and clear as in-ear headsets cause it lays ON the ear.

JABRA=Great, but "darker" sounding than the

PLANTRONINCS VOYAGER=Would be "best-of-both-worlds" PERFECT if it didn't start hurting my ear after awhile. Also, headset 'beep' covers part of voice command prompts.

BLUETREK G2="Not Scottish"

I still say location. LG said same. I have tried HS820, BT250 & 250V , M2500, Logitech Freedem and Scala. Sound always clear, never an echo on any. Really liked the Jabra, but voice command didn't like me. Freedom, good but very uncomfortable and kept it only 1 day.
