Caller Id is not working?

I was fiddling with my 8100 and now it does not show who is calling (from my phone directory or the phone number)!!! I don't know what I did? Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks!

From the standby screen hit ok and then the right directional button twice....then select 7...and make sure you select on.

Thanks for your response. I tried that. i went to the settings and tools tab went option 7 (ringer id) and it is on. Is this the menu where you wanted me to go to? nevermind my ignorance, but what is the "stand by screen? Thanks!

Standby is when you just open the phone without pressing any buttons. And yes that was the screen that I wanted you to go to. Sorry I couldnt be more help.

Ok, try this go from main menu to Settings & Tools. Select System, Select Security, Enter your code of course; Select Reset Default.

OR

try #228, option 1.
