I just switched from sprint to verizon and decided I wanted a good phone so I decided to get the lg 8100 this phone is awesome. The lg 8100 has it all but I am having trouble with one of the features, I want mp3's on my phone and I cant find a data cable is there another way to do this or does anyone know where I can find a data cable with software that allows this. Also stupid ? about voice mail with sprint you are able to delete messages without listening to them can you do this with verizons vm... thanks

You can transfer MP3s via MiniSD or use bluetooth to transfer data between your computer and your phone (This is what I do)

Once you get into voice mail you can immediately hit 7 to erase the message as soon as it starts.

you can get a data cable for the 8100 by searching for a 8000 data cable on ebay.. it works just fine with it

You can't simply press 7 at the beginning of your message to erase it, it will keep playing. You can, though, press 33, and that will forward to the end of the message, then you can press 7 to erase.

Okay, I've searched this forum and I can't figure it out - how do you transfer data to the 8100 via Bluetooth?

Got it. You CAN put ringtones to your phone with Bluetooth.
