In my region, Georgia, no firmware updates for the 8100 have made it to store technicians. Just keep asking your store techs.

go to verizonwirelss.com, click on store locator at the top. type in your zip code. choose one or more of the store(s) listed and call it(them). Ask to speak with their in-house technician. They are the only ones qualified to tell you if they have the update or not. Reps and managers may or may not have accurate information on this. and definitely dont trust the heresay you see here on Phonescoop. Some people think that a #228 reprogram that you should do EVERY month is the same thing as a software upgrade. IT IS NOT. hope this is helpful. Cheers!
