am getting the 8100
Okay I just did my * new every two* with verizon and ordered the 8100. I haven't received it yet but I see it shipped yesterday. I had no clue about all these problems and I am bummed. Do you think they put the software into the phone before they shipped it to me?? I would hate to have to hassle with all these problems especially the volume problem.

More than likely you'll get the original software, version 1. Just go get the update when it's available in your area. It fixed the volume problem for me and the MP3 player works now

I mean that the MP3 player is now completely operational. You can put MP3's on your SD card and play them on the front of the phone or from the inside, with the phone open or closed. the software is version t810vzv04

well it sure would save the hassle if they actually sent a phone with the updated software 😡 .. I am so bummed about this.. How do they generally notify people that own this phone about an update assuming they don't go on internet boards to find out? Everyone that owns this phone deserves the update
