Where can I get this update in Southen California?
Also does this update fix the frequent disconnect problem and how long does the upload take? Do I really have to go to the Verizon store or can I do it wireless at home?

My update took 12 mins. No you cant get the update from home. I never had a call drop problem so I cant answer that one.

Did you remove all of your pix, flix, and sounds? I stripped mine down and all that was left were my GIN games and phonebook. 12 mins!

I had 2 ringtones, 2 games, 4 pictures and no saved videos/mini SD card. Thats not alot. The tech told me that she tested the update on a brand new phone to clock the speed of it and on a brand new phone it took an hour and a half. Maybe her computer was not as powerful as some out there.
