8100 update in Newington, CT

I just dropped my phone off about 10 minutes ago. he said the update takes about 45 minutes so i will post back my results in about an hour 😁 😁 😁

I was there last night, they failed to load it properly. I'm going to Meriden CT Tonight they got it this morning and are WAY better tech wise (and have a cute young lady working there) lol

yeah its finally done. took an hour and a half for mine 😡 but its done. volume on the ear piece seems better. the mp3 player finally works properly i can close it while playing the mp3. instead of renaming them to .mid. you can leave it as mp3. and it has a "my mp3" now in the menu. hollER

It was released by LG to Verizon Corp. this past Tuesday, and it just takes time for them to disperse it to all the stores systems. Could be next week, could be a couple of weeks, unfortunately. Noone knows for sure. You just have to keep checking in with the stores in your area.

yeah i love it. im playin mp3s right now. with the phone flipped CLOSED WOOT WOOT 😁 😁 its cool how you can also change the equalizer. thats hot ****. GOOD CHOICE VERIZON

How do I get this update? I just bought this phone yesterday. Does it already have the update, is there a website or something like that? help a brotha out.

Take it back to the store you bought it at, and ask the tech to update the software

yeah make sure they use the USB cable to transfer... the 1st time they did it was to my phone... and they used serial cable and it took one and a half hours. second phone they tried USB and it took 15 min or less.

I just had my 3rd update. All three were under 15 mins each. Before you ask... 1)screwed with my ringtones making them hiss 2)same thing 3)Swapped for NEW phone and this update seems to be working but its only been an hour. 😳
