Didn't you see the earlier post about this? It has to be the best antenna on any civilian commo device! You twist the top a quarter turn to unlock it, out pops the spring-loaded antenna to about three feet. And what's more, if you are in an area with limited digital signal, you access the new antenna codes in the tools menu, and POW! - it deploys a little CO2 filled balloon, trailing a thin wire, up to about 250 feet. No signal - No problem. Now your hitting on all four signal bars! You are gonna' love this upgrade!

What color is the new antenna and do we have to get clearance from air traffic control to use it? Knowing Verizon theres gonna be a charge to deploy it. 🙄

I think theres a bright red light that flashes on the tip of the antenna in case you use it outside at night so planes can see it and not run into it!

No, I think your wrong. That feature is going to be a available in a future update. A rep told me its going to be blue though. 😛

Guys, I just got back from vacation. On my flight home as we were landing I saw the balloon thing with the little flashing light. I think the antenna update is coming real soon. It must have been a VZ tech testing it.
I saw it over Windsor Locks CT, 06022 it's near the airport... so we know the update is true.... for all you disbelievers
