LG VX-8100
So I'm going to take my 8100 in to exchange for the 2nd time....
I'm having issues that I've posted in earlier threads. For some reason, I am getting no service where I live. The "1x", Verizon wireless banner and signal bars disappear intermittently and I cannot make or receive calls. I called cust service and they reset some settings but it didn't get fixed.
So the tech said that general policy is to give you a different model phone if you want after the 3rd exchange (within 90 days of the purchase of the original phone). But she was willing to let me exchange for a different model after this 2nd exchange. I thought about it and I am willing to give the 8100 another chance. The first time I exchanged it was because of the volume and pics disappearing. I didn't have those problems with this 2nd ...

Me too. Bluetooth problem staying connected to phone. Had it flashed twice in East Brunswick. Took it to Hazlet and the tech screwed around with the phone so much, he broke it completely. Same problem with new phone. Had it redone in Edison this morning. Seems OK so far but can't really tell yet. According to LG, who seem to lie about the same as VZW lately, nothing was touched other than the 'media player', as he called it. Claimed not aware of any Bluetooth echo problem. More BS. 😕
