Mp3 player thru Bluetooth?

I am buying a BT headset soon and would like to know can the Mp3 player be heard through the BT headsets that some of you own?

Not through mine, I have the motorola 850 headset. If anyone knows if it's the headset and not the phone, let me know.

You cannot listen to MP3's through ANY bluetooth headset, unless you purchase one of those very expensive bluetooth STEREO headsets. Regular BT headsets are for audio only.

well a normal headset will play the mp3 through a mono audio signal. even adapted wired headphones do not play true stereo audio through the mini jack. Does anyone HAVE one of these stereo headsets, and is he or she willing to recommend it?

I do not personally have a Bluetooth stereo headset, as they are very pricey, and I don't listen to MP3's enough through my phone to warrant this expense. I did, however, purchase the Jabra stereo wired headset from Verizon and the sound is amazing! Works excellent.

Well, a descent one is around $200 and the thing I also don't like besides the price is that they are built like regular headphones and go over your head. If they were small and compact like regular BT headsets, I could probably overlook the price.
