Do you need to have the mp3's on a minisd to play or can you just load them into the folder using the data cable? I do not have a card, and when I open the folder it says something about there not being files on the card.

I have a card, what can I do with it. Note I don't have the update yet. I feel like having a 512mb card in there is a useless, or is it?

Yes you can listen to songs useing the sounds folder, the only catch is you can only listen to them one at a time.

1)Put the mini sd card in a computer.
2)Open the card folder
3)goto tools, folder options, view, uncheck " hide extensions for unknown file types"
4)move your mp3 to the sounds folder on the mini sd card.
5)right click a song and click rename.
6)delete the .mp3 at the end of the song and change it to .qcp
7)do this to each file and then put it back in your phone.
😎now you can play these through your sounds on your phone

You can put movies and tv shows on your phone. All you need is the software to convert the videos to 3gpp. Once that is done drag and drop them into the "my_flix" folder on the card and insert in phone and you have flix oor tv shows to go.
