I just recieved my new Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset today and so far so good. I had tried both the HS820 and HS850 and returned both because they fit horrible! This one advertised improved fit, and it does fit better! Very sleek looking, great fit and works awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Jabra works excellent and I've only used it for a month, but think I like this H500 better. If anyone is interested in buying my Jabra BT250V (all black with vibrate feature), let me know. I have original Verizon packaging and paperwork with it too. You can e-mail me an offer at: [email protected] or e-mail me and ask more ?????'s or get pics. It is a great headset, but I don't need two.

Mary, where did you get it from? How much? Haven't seen it anyplace. My Scala won't stay connected since update. I have an HS850 but hate the delay on incoming calls. What about the H500? Any delay?

Purchased mine from ebay for $54.00 w/ shipping. Figured that was a good deal since the other Moto headsets are $99.99 retail. It works great! Stays connected, VERY CLEAR. It has better audio than the other two Moto headsets, definately!

Do you get a delay on in-coming calls, like the HS850?

Hi Mary, you say the fit is much better. Is it as comfortable as the Scala? I know you didn't like the Scala's performance, but I think the fit is great. Is the earpiece still that really soft plastic or a different material? It just looks the same as the 850 in the pics I've seen. Thanks.

The biggest issue I had with both Motos that caused me to take them both back was the echo heard by callers on the line (usually on crystal clear land lines). Some chaulked it up to the volume being all the way up on the headset but thats BS since if you want to use the thing in the car or other loud surroundings, it needs to be pretty cranked.

So my question is did they fix that through better echo cancellation or other means? If so, I can't wait to find this in a local store. I heard that the Verizon stores will be picking this guy up. I'd like to try it with the 15-day return plan 🙂

ever noticed that motorola only makes big bulky headsets that hang on the outside of your ear? for an active person on the go its easy to knock it off my ear and that just aint happenen. im for the jabra which tucks behind the ear......wow what an idea.....i like it

I agree the Jabra fits very nicely, but as far as bulky, the Jabra is definately more bulky than any of the motorolas.
