Roaming after update
I was just wondering if everyone that got the software update is always roaming, or if it is just my phone? I am still attached to a verizon tower, but the phone is telling me I am roaming.

apparently doing a *228 after getting the v.04 update will fix the roaming problem...post back here if it does!

Nope. Tried both option 1 and 2 with no luck, still Roaming. Called Verizon and their tech department (after an hour) finally said that it is a problem in the software, and either go back to the store to get the original software put on, or deal with it - it isnt really roaming, just says it is - until the next update...whenever that is

You will never need to worry about getting charged for roaming anyway.If you are on a updated rate plan there is no roaming.Check and make sure you are on a America's ChoiceII plan.

And I forgot to mention. I have the V4 update and my 8100 does not show the roaming indicator
