The software update was pushed nationally last night at 9pm. If they say they do not have it ask them if they power cycled their flashbox because that is what they will need to do. My source was Howardforums...from ROC A FELLA. Good luck!

Yay, I'm going to buy actually buy the phone tomorrow and make sure the new update is on it. But I called a store here in Las Vegas and they said the 50.00 mail in rebate counts toward my $100.00 for my NE2. So I called 611 and they said the 50.00 mail in rebate is in addition to the NE2 100.00 off. I think the store is full of it, anyone know for sure?

Got the update today. I was shocked when it was done in 15 minutes. I thought it would take 45 minutes or longer. My phone worked fine before so the only change for me is the MP3 player.

I sure hope that it is true that they are coming out with some adapters and better headphones for the phone. Will improve the sound quality immensely.
