mp3's as ringtones for LG 8100

Im just wondering if you can make MP3's into ringtones...i did it with my motorola V710 but im not sure how to do it with the new LG 8100 phone any input would be much appreciated...thanks

thanks, but i dont have the cable or understand what hes talking about...im just looking for an easier way, by just using the Mini SD card.
