Please tell me if I'm missing anything here:

Once you have the update, you can play mp3s. All you need is a minisd card. To transfer mp3s, you just stick it into your computer and you can drag and drop mp3 files into an associated folder. You then stick the card into your phone and the phone automatically recognizes what's on the card, and the songs are in some sort of "my sounds" folder. The largest minisd card that works with the phone is 1GB.

Is it as easy as that?

i'm not sure if the 1G card will work, if anyone has it and working please share.

Many on here have posted about using 1gb cards successfully. There appear to be no problems with the high capacity cards. You might want to phrase your post as a question, if you are not certain of the answer.
