can anyone explain to me how bitpim works? do you need a cable to attach to your phone i mean whats the deal i hear people are making mp3's as ringtones with bitpim...any help would be great...thanks

yep u sure can. in fact what i do to save even more space, is use bitpim to compress mp3's even smaller usually about 35% of the original size its great. i think its bitpim.org 7.35 is the unofficial version i use. i bought the data cable/mobile office kit from vzw and it works just fine
