Hey all...
I don't post much here, in fact, I post very little. But I do come here everyday and read everything that goes on in the "8100's world".
I just HAD to come here to say "THANK YOU" to A-L-L of you who contirbute and have contributed to everything about this phone; info, advice, and etc.
I FINALLY got the update a couple of days ago and I couldn't be happier with my phone! I have two 8100's (mine and my g/f's) and BOTH phones took only 30 mins to update!!! (15 mins. each)
The MP3 player works great! In fact it seems as if it has breathed new life in my phone. Surprisingly, it also seems as if my battery lasts longer because it seems I can do so much more with it than before w/o it going dead. Ex. Listening to the MP3's, playing games, etc.
I cannot thank you all enough for your hard work and interest in this phone. Please continue to keep up the good/hard work. You have definately made my day!

I'd like to thank the phonescoop people for having this forum and I'd like to thank all the forum users as well. Like CNyceNC, I check this forum everyday and it's opened my eyes to the happenings of cell phones.
I haven't updated my phone yet, but I sure will this weekend. I was told by the rep that it had the latest, but oh well, just shows that the reps don't know Jack. You guys put Verizon workers to shame!
