Question on transfering mp3s to mini sd card
Can anyone give me the proper steps on transfering mp3s to mini sd? I have been doing the following: format mini sd while in phone, move mp3s from pc to card, play on phone. Is this right?
But for some reason I sometimes get an error message when I go to transfer the files from pc to the card - corrupt file or read only folder. I made sure the mini sd card is unlocked. Then when I format again and even try formatting the card on the pc it works fine.
Any help would be appreciated!

take card out of phone
but it some card reader
move files from cpu to card through the card reader
put card back in phone

So the first step is to format the card in the phone right? Not on the PC? Then I have to power off and on phone before I take card out? Or do I take it out while it's off only? Just want to make sure...

I formatted my card to the phone, and I take out and put in my card all the time with the phone on with no problems.

Thanks...so far I haven't had problems after the first glitch I had. I loaded a family guy episode last night w/o a problem. I have a 512mb Dane-Elec brand. I got it on ebay, maybe it's just the card.

i didn't format my card at all . i just took it out of the package and put it in my phone and restarted the phone it should make the 3 proper directories to put things in
maybe it is the card... that is sorta an off brand
