You need a floppy disk to put the songs on, then you just insert it in the slot on the side of the phone! 🙄

You will need a card reader to get the songs from your PC to your card.

The amount of memory u get is purely based on your needs. I currently have a 256mb and it holds approximately 50+/- mp3s. I am definately going to be getting a 1 gig soon and if the 2 gig is out by the time i am ready to purchase it I am going to get it...simply because I would rather have too much memory than too little. (I also plan on putting movies and TV shows on it also)

You can buy the mini SD cards at places like best buy and circuit city. There are tons of places on-line to buy them also. I would suggest calling stores before you go though because I have been having a hard time finding the 1 gig at a lot of places.

Hope this helps

Yes you put whole shows and even full length movies. You will need to d/l the movie/show from someplace like limewire, then convert it to 3pg using a converter like imtoo. Once it is converted you put it on the card under FLIX and watch away!

The 30 minute shows I have are usually between 30-80mb based on the settings you use.

ok i got the imtoo converter and tried to convert my avi file. but it would only convert minute of it since its a trial version? i have to register with a code to use the whole feature...? which one are you using that lets u have no limit on conversion... Can u link me to the right program?

also i've viewed a glimpse of the converted 3GP and the quality is crap. once its transfered to the card and playing on the phone, how good is the quality?? is it worth it? i'm trying to get some music videos on it.

I got a 1 gigabyte Sandisk card from a photo shop. If they say they dont sell them then ask if they can order one for you. The couple stores I called were very accomadating.

Do you have an SD CARD? (I know this may be a dumb question, but I'm just starting at the beginning and assuming your "new" to this) Because you cannot play MP3's without one. Next, download and save mp3's to your desktop shortening the names to less than 47 char. Then put your SD card into a card reader, open up the MP3 folder, drag the mp3's from your desktop to the folder, put the card back into the phone, then press and hold the play button on the front of the phone while closed, and they will start to play! You can also access them w/ phone opened by going to menu, then get tunes and tones, then my MP3. Hope this helped some.

If the "my mp3's" is not listed, then you don't have the update. I was answering assuming you had the update.

You need to go to your nearest Verizon store and have them load the v04 software update onto your phone, then you will get that folder. Without the update, there is still a way to listen to the songs with the phone open, one at a time, and so on, but you need to change file names, etc. etc. etc. It's all on here thousands of times, so you may want to do a search for it if you don't plan on updating, which you should, by all means.
