VERY UPSET for my 8100 Phone

I'm getting so upset. My new 8100 phone has been on the Fedex truck since 8:30 this morning and they still haven't delivery to me. And it's 12:00 now. The Fedex truck has through here once today but no phone. I'm getting very upset, but what can I do?

Thank you.

I will go ahead and forward this post to those in charge at FedEx. They will then track your exact location and expedite the delivery process. I'm sure that because of this, your phone will arrive sometime in the next hour, as opposed to before 5pm, which would be absolutely horrible! (if this happens, you should sue FedEx, for sure. Those bastards.)

When you first saw the FED EX truck go through, you should have ran as fast as you could, grabbed onto the truck and screamed like hell until the driver stopped, then demanded he/she let you in the truck to look for your phone.

I depends on what kind of delivery was sent as. I believe Fedex as well as the other delivery services have 3 classifications of overnight delivery, priorty, standard and enconomy which will have different delivery times. Go online and enter your tracking number and see what the eta is.

Glad I could help.
Those guys are just having a little fun at your expense. 😁
At least Verizon is using Fedex instead of the guys in yellow.

Yeah, DHL sucks.

I ordered some RAM from the internet and the guy tossed it on my porch like a letter. Lucky for him it was packaged well, inside a UPS envelope, in the DHL envelope.

It All Depends on What Driver you get much like any company Ive Had UPS leave Computer Parts sitting outside my door when it would have easily went in between the doors OR they could have simply Rang the doorbell since i WAS home but i guess its easier and faster to throw and run oh well DHL drivers Fed Ex Drivers UPS it all comes down to each area and its drivers

Very True! I'm lucky enough to be on a first name basis with my local UPS driver. He's gone out of his way many times over to ensure that the delivery is a smooth and efficient one. Of course there are bad ones out there too. I guess I just got lucky in mine.

I would classify the guys in yellow the worst of the bunch. A lot of their drivers aren't employees of the company. They're run by independent contractors. The Fedex guys would tend the most careful, I know if they lose a package it comes out of their own pocket.

That would be illegal, so I'm sure that's not the way it works. If I break something at work, they can't charge me for it.

Some how they have it structured legally. I think once it's loaded on their truck they some how become responsible. We had an issue with a missing laptop. The missing laptop wasn't the drivers fault, long story. The driver came by to personally discuss the shipments he delivered to the house and provided details of each package and how he was responsible for it, which determines what packages he leaves behind regardless of signature releases.

I was talking to our local FEDEX driver and he says even if there is a signature waiver on file with them, if it is in a bad area, he wont leave it. In a nice quiet housing development liek what I live in, he has no problem leaving them by the front door, my guy actually leaves it on my patio table int he back yard for me.

It does truely depend on the driver, some care, some dont.

Well the jerk off that threw 512MB of 1066MHz(1.066GHz) ECC RDRAM on the ground, clearly doesn't care.

Not to get off topic of everything that has been posted on this topic so far... but did you actually get your phone yet? You can't leave all of us in suspense wondering if another person has become a satisfied owner of a 8100.

Yes I got it. I think the phone is very cute, the only problem I'm having with it is the volume on the ear piece. I can't hear people that good. And it does seem that the 815 picked up better then the 8100. Don't know why, but I still like the looks of this phone better than the 815
