BITPIM VER 7.34
I recently downloaded BITPIM ver 7.34 and bought a data cable. I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO CONNECT MY PHONE TO THE PROGRAM. Im constantly getting an error message of "An unexpected exception has occurred." Im not too knowledgable about computers but i made sure my phone is connected to the USB correctly and I tried changing the com port on Bitpim settings. I tried each com port including automatic and it still wont connect! Any advise would be greatly appreciatted. THANKS ALOT

First of all you should look for 7.35 unofficial version. That one is specifically made for the 8100, not like 7.34 that was for the 8000.

You're welcome. 7.35 is much easier to use and also made for the 8100, so it's not really a hack. You just save files directly to the appropriate tabs instead of doing the multiple clicks with 7.34.
