some mp3's dont play!!
I LOVE THE mp3 PLAYER!!!
but theres a problem. some select mp3s just wont play!!! There's nothing different about them, their file extension is also mp3 (even if it wasn't i wouldnt know how to change that), but when i put it onto my sd card and then put that into my phone, it wont even show up with all the other songs. But then when i put the sd card back into my computer, the song is in the my mp3s file!!! and this happends with just random select mp3's i dont know why. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Several people have had similar problems. Make sure all your songs have less than 47 characters in the name -- I think it's 47, it might be 43. Try searching past posts for that info. The 47 characters includes the ".mp3". Also, some mp3's are not really mp3's. Try using a mp3 converter on the songs in question. You can download free converters. I got one called CDex.

I belive there is also a size limit for the MP3, someone posted the other day they couldnt get a 80mb mp3 to play even though it had a short name. Use a converter and drop the bitrate and mke it smaller, try to use a 1 word name and see if it works. also try dragging and dropping it into the my_mp3 folder instead of copy and paste

is there some sort of free program that can download to convert from other file types to mp3?

i use cool edit, just go to download.com, search for mp3 converter and download one, there are trial programs, usually good for 15-30 days and there are some free programs that last as long as you want.
