How do i get the update???
The update is a fix for the phone, like going from windows ME to windows XP. Makes the little things better in life. Call your local store, talk to a tech and ask them if they have T81VZV04 for the lg 8100, if so, go there, stand in line for 3 hours, give them your phone, wait 2 more hours while they do a 40 min flash to your phone.

if your lucky some stores arent busy, I called the store, was told no wait, would take 40 mins to flash, got there and was told have been on a 3 hour wait all day due to one of there cellebrite machines being down.

It enables the MP3 player completely (can put songs in "my mp3" folder (new folder w/ update) as .mp3, instead of changing them and putting them in "my sounds", can listen with phone closed, can use front buttons, has an equalizer) and fixes some other issues.
