IF YOU WANT TO PUT RINGTONES ON YOUR PHONE, YOU EITHER NEED TO USE GIN OR GET YOURSELF A DATA CABLE AND SOME INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

so where do I get the cable? Verizon store told me that their cable for $40 won't work to chnage the ringtones

There is no cable specifically for the 8100. you need to get the cable for the 8000 (works with 8100).
