If I get my phone replace through the insurance, I know I pay like 50 bucks or sumthin like that, but will they let me trade in my VX8000 for a 8100?

not unless they're out of 8000's. even then they might not bump to the 8100.

just sell your 8000 on ebay, you can probably get at leates 200 for it if it is in great shape then go in a store and buy a 8100 at reatil. 350-50(rebate) 300 dollars so with the money you get from selling the 8000 it won't be that bad. This is what i do and i never sign contracts and get new phones every 6 months or so.

Me too. I get new phones all the time out of contract, sell my old one on ebay and usually come out ahead every time.

yup it is great, screw signing contracts, ever now and then i will do a one year if the phone is really expensive, i did that on the 8000 because i think the retail was around 400 something bucks.
