Camera Delay...
I often thought people were crazy when they said they didnt have the camera delay, but I just received my new (FRU) phone due to some problems with my ringers and the new phone has practically no delay! I was really surprised because my previous phone had a really bad delay. And this new phone did not come with the new update on it yet. Crap I just thought of something, what if the update gives it a delay, that would be my luck!

I never had the camera delay on my phone either. I had the update put on it a couple of week ago and still no delay.

was your problem with your ringers that they would sometimes turn into static?
mine has done this once and I am thought about trying to get a new phone. but wasnt sure if verizon would go for it under the 1 year warranty.. had the phone for about a month

I am the static ringer PRO. I have had the prob on 6 8100's. I have switched minisd's as well as cardreaders, ripped from cds as well as mp3's from pc and still gotten static. But I only get it when the mp3 player is playing and i get a call, an alarm, or txt/pix msg. Also the player has to be on "shuffle" for this 2 happen. If I have it set to "rpt all" or "rpt one" there is no static when i get a call. I also have 9 GIN ringers ...

Actually I am blaming my static problem on wwhizzard. I was having absolutely NO problem with my 8100. Then after being sympathetic to his problem...mine started happening. I wonder if it could be "sympathy static" 😉
But actually my problem is the same exact as his. Static only when on shuffle. And after it happens...if you just start the mp3 player and stop it...the static wont happen again until you have it on shuffle again someone calls you.

Have you tried with the zoom on? My camera is fine without the zoom. Once the zoom is on, even to the first setting, I get 2-3 second lag.
