cant get my music to goto to my sd card

i dont know what i'm doing wrong, but i cant get my cd's to load on my sd card. i create a shortcut on my desktop and then drag it to my mp3 folder. it shows the song in the folder but when i put the card in my phone it tells me no songs on the card. what am i doing wrong. i use the .qcp or .mid and doesnt work for me. can someone please help transfer music to my sd card

Keep your songs as .mp3 (I'm assuming you have the update, if not then this is not the answer for you), make sure the names are shortened to under 47 char, drag one song at a time into the my_mp3 folder. Should work fine.

i do have the software update. i have the 128mb card is this enough space?

That is fine..usually an mp3 is 5mb on the avg. That varies due to the bit rate in which the song is encoded at. The lower the bitrate the more songs you can fit on card...I use 128 and they sound great. God luck.
