Phone shows reboot screens while using Get It Now
I am new here and have a question. I was using Get It Now to look up ring tones. As I was looking at some ring tones to choose from, I noticed seeing the screens appear that you see when the phone is starting up. It did not make any sounds, it just showed the start up screens and went back to the get it now screen. Has any one seen this problem. I plan on getting it re-flashed this week, to see if this solves this problem. Thanks for any advice.😲

Actually, The phone shows the startup screens and it goes to the normal wallpaper screen. So, the phone is restarting on it's own.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got the ringtone that I was looking for and haven't been back in to see if it would happen again. I will be interested to see if the source of this can be found.

It happened again last night. So far it has happened while using MyTonz v2.00. I was looking at ringtones and the screen went blank. Then the phone restarted,with no sound, went to the wallpaper screen it usually goes to when you normally start the phone. As I said earlier, I talked to a verizon tech and she said it definitely was something she needed to look at. If this only happens when looking for ring tones, then I can avoid it by not shopping for ring tones anymore. Anyway reflash will occur Friday. Will let you know what happens after that. 😕

I have not had any other problems from the phone. Like I said, I got the ringtone I wanted (I don't even remember which program I got it from) and haven't been back on since. Tonight I'll have to play around some more and see if it happens again. I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

Railroad, I tried the ring tone programs last night and here is what I found. I have Modtones, VZW Tones and Ringster 3.0. I started looking at VZW tones and got the restart error. However, I was down in my basement where I don't get very good signal while I was using the program. I moved upstairs where I get better signal and played around for quite awhile going in and out of the programs, trying ring tones, etc. and didn't have any other problems. I know this doesn't help much, but it's a start. Let me know if this is still happening to you.

Went to the Verizon store today. They ran tests that are on the phone, that only they have access to. My phone did not pass the test. They said they had talked to LG and LG had them run these tests. So they found that the problem was with my phone. So they gave me a new phone. Then I left the store and installed the ring-tone software. Downloaded two ringtones and the phone restarted. This happened minutes after I left the store. I went back to the store and told them what happened. They told me LG has gotten many reports about the phone rebooting after using Get It Now to get Ringtones. And they told me LG said not to use Get It Now to get ringtones, until they can figure out what is going on. They gave me another new phone and I will be h...
