i cant get mp3's on my phone, I heard you had to convert them to midi, Do you and how do u do it?

First, you should check what version software you have by taking your 8100 and selecting
->settings_&_toools
/system
/Device_Info
/SW_version
If your Software Version is T81VZ04 you have the mp3 player in the phone. if it is SW version T81VZ01 or T81VZ02, you need to go into a verizon corporate store (not a kiosk) where they have technicians who can plug your phone in and "flash" it with the newest software version.
