Blue Tooth Headset for 8100
I just bought the 8100 a few days ago. I also own the 8000, have to return one of them, but the built in BT feature drew me to the 8100.
I also got the Motorola BT headset. I am not at all too happy with this unit. The sound quality really sucks, imo, and I'm wondering if I should just stick to my 8000 and a wired headset. I saw the Jabra set for the 8100, but it seems large and bulky.
Any suggestions? Are there better BT headsets?

Yes, there are better ones. Do a search on here for "BT headsets" or "Bluetooth headsets" and you'll pull up a lot of great info/reviews. I can tell you, IMO, the best I have tried are the Jabra BT250V and the Motorola H500 (this one is not in stores yet, at least that I have seen, but they have them on ebay for pretty good prices).

Just cracked open my H500, just got from the link mary had posted off ebay. Very nice BT headset, ill post my review on it as where im located at my house, everything seemed greated except for the echo my dad was getting, so i swapped phones to hear what he was talking about and he walked down to the lake with my phone and headset and i could hear the echo loud and clear. I thought this was going away with the new headsets but it is still there.. the h700 is suppose to clear this up, ill give the rest of my review on this headset soon. I still have the Scala 500 and it was working fine this morning then something happened and it was back to crappy reception and static. The mic's on both of these units are very sensitive.

ECHO ECHO ECHO ECHO... As for anything else, great headset. but the 850 echo is still there H500. im giving up on BT headsets i think. It has to be either the area im in or my 8100 is not putting out enough signal. I have sent my scala 500 back in hopes it was something bad with the Mic. But im tempted to return my 8100 for a new one in hopes that maybe the Bluetooth in it was messed up.

I'm sorry to hear your troubles with this. I would definately try another 8100 and see if that helps, otherwise, maybe it just is the area you are in. Don't know, but that sucks.
