Shows previously aired on tv are copyrighted as well. Thats why they sell Seinfeld, Family Guy, Chappelle Show DVD boxsets. And if as you state (most of you) wanted to do it, then stop announcing your plans to pirate the shows through the phone scoop forums.

If shows on TV are copy-righte, then how come they sell Tivos with dvd burners that allow you to download and burn and entire season of any show? Seems to me that it falls under your arguement with your choice to use Cox internet instead of VZWs. You pay for internet, so you own rights said internet. Same with tv shows, you pay your cable bill, so you have rights to the contents. I believe box sets are for the people who don't have cable. I personally have never bought a TV show box set that I have already seen on cable.
