Finally some nice custom fit cases for the 8100
I've been wanting to get a case for my phone, and I didn't like the one that Verizon sells. I recently looked on ebay and finally they have some nice cases for the 8100. For a while all I could find on ebay was pouches, which I didn't want.

And I love it! It IS a pouch, but it fits perfectly, very snug and is made of very high quality materials. Leather even smells like leather, and the belt clip on the back is very securely put on. It also comes in black or red.

That looks like a nice one too. I've seen those on ebay and yahoo and they have some nice colors. I just wanted something that would stay on the phone while I'm using it. As clumsy as I am, the times I have dropped the phone were usually getting out of my car after using it...and boy did I regret not having a case on there! ☹️

That's one thing I LOVE about Bluetooth. Even when the car stereo is up loud, I can still here the beeps in my ear from my headset, because with other phones, I would put them on vibrate and have them in my lap so I knew when I was getting a call, then I would forget it was there and get out of the car, only to have it fly out and get all scratched up, so I definately know what you mean there.

I bought the Verizon one and I am not a fan at all. First, they made the strap on the left-hand side so close to the edge that it is constantly moving off the edge of the speaker (like a tanktop strap falling down your shoulder). Also, The fit is loose enough that when I am on a call, I constantly have to adjust the thing down so it will stop blocking the speaker. Terrible design.

I can't stand that design either! I tried it for a few days and just didn't like the style at all. It seemed to add a lot of bulk to the phone, especially with those snaps at the top (anybody ever heard of elastic??). And I hated the back part of the case--every time I opened the phone it would slide around like it was going to fall off. But back part is stiff and basically sits on the back of the phone and is not snug at all. The ones I got on Ebay, esp. the pink one fit the phone like a glove and do not add bulk like the verizon one. The same style comes in black too.
