I have recently noticed that when my phone alarms the option to hit snooze has vanished. I know the problem has been happening to some other people that I know. What about you guys...and gals?

wwhizzard,
I couldn't believe this when I read your post just now. I ALWAYS use my phone for my alarm, EVERY night and before AND after the update I was able to hit snooze, but about 2 days ago for me also, that option was no longer available, then this morning when it went off, it was there! I didn't know if something was going wrong with my phone or what. Since it happened to both of us at the same time, maybe it was some kind of network problem? Glad to know it wasn't just me.

That may be a possibility but some of the people on HoFo have stated that theirs happened a while ago. I turned all three of mine off and then turned them back on and the problem seems to have been corrected.

I only use one at a time and like I said, it worked again yesterday, but guess what? The alarm went off this morning and again no snooze option???????????????????????? Strange.

I turned my alarm off for a few secs then reset it. Now it works fine. Face it Mary...another glitch to deal with. But dont get me wrong...I LOVE MY 8100!

Me too! I guess I should just get up when it goes off anyway! It's just that that extra few minutes seems so needed sometimes. When I am so groggy in the morning it's easy to press snooze, but harder to have to think so early in the morning and re-set it!

I've noticed that after I hit snooze about 3 times the snooze option will go away. I thought this was normal. I guess it shouldn't take an alarm 4 tries to get someone out of bed! I wish we could set the length of the snooze too. 5 min just isn't enough!

Definately agree that we should have the option to change from 5 minutes! As far as it going away, for me and wwhizzard it was just gone as an option altogether. When it went off the very first time, the only option displayed was stop or end, or whatever it says. The snooze was not on the left like it should have been. Not sure what's going on there. Mine came back and is gone again. Wierd.

The LG phones that I have dealt with are all programmed to allow you to snooze just 4 times. After that they expect us to have our rumps up and moving 😁

Speaking of problems that just suddenly start happening, my phone has just started turning itself off and back on again (like the 8000 used to do). It has never done this and it just started it today.

I was thinking it was due to me taking the SD card in and out alot last night without turning the phone off. Is the SD card hot swappable??? Could this be my problem?

Any ideas?

I personally have never turne the phone off when inserting or removing the minisd. I hope the same glitch that the 8000 had isnt surfacing its ugly head. Thats why I upgraded to this one in the first place. Good Luck.
