Got card but can't get Mp3s on it? Right protection! What am I doing wrong?
I got a 512 card today and formatted it. So I put the card in my disk drive of the computer and went to copy an Mp3 to the card. It comes up as right protection. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to use Bitpim or change the format? Please Help! âšī¸

From what I understand there is a switch on the side of the card that can take the write protection of. It is DIRECTLY on the card.

Exactly. In my experience, the actual ADAPTER part for the card--the part that you put the Mini SD into in order to make readers read it, has a small slide-switch on the side. It is VERY easy to accidentally switch this when you're inserting the card into your reader. Just switch it back whenever you have the problem and it'll work fine.
