MP3 player and card limit! 35 songs! Can't be! Using 512 card
I just got a 512 card and so I started loading songs on the card. Well when I open them up on the phone if only shows 35 songs. That can't be right! Shouldn't it hold more or did Verizon stick it to us again? 😲
...
I held 55 when I had a 256mb...vould have fit 100 if I had lowered the bit rate or had shorter songs
Are you saying that you loaded more than that on the card but they arent showing on the phone?
...
Yeah i have a 512 and I have 30 mp3s and 30 tv shows, all my mp3s are from limewire. you should hold alot more than that.
...
I copied mine from my CDs. In the folder with the player open it says #/35! It should hold more right!

Is 5000 something KB a big file? Some of the songs are that and some are 1KB! Is that the problem?
...
Thats 5mb. Some of the songs may have too long of a title. They need to be below 47 characters including the .mp3....at least till v05 software update is released.

Either your mp3's aren't really mp3's, or the file names are too long. First thing, make sure all your file names are not more than 47 characters long, and that includes the ".mp3". Any longer than that and the phone won't see them.
If that doesn't fix the problem, do a google for mp3 converters, or use Windos Media Player, and convert all your songs to mp3's. Even though it may say they are now, some files still need to be converted.
