wow your really ignorant!

so u really believe the problem is the user?

do u even own this phone because if u did u wouldn't say stupid things like that.

first of all i had to take my first phone back which i only had for a mere 3 days.

i was on my way home talking to a friend and every 2 seconds all i could say was hello, huh, what u say, what.

i couldnt take it at all so i took the phone back ang got a new one with the blue dot which seem to be working better but the volume still need to be fix.

before u speak u should try comparing the lg 8100 to n e nextel phone.

Hello, thank you!! Yeah, by the way, what does that blue dot mean? Because the last phone I got had a blue dot on the box, and needless to say, I STILL have the volume problem. I can *deal* with the camera issue, but DEFINTELY not the volume issue.

I'm right down the same road with the, "Hello? What? What? I'm sorry, I still didn't hear you. Um, can you say that one more time - this phone has volume issues..."

Not to get blasted by anyone (since this is the 8100 forum), BUT the Samsung SCH a950 evidently just came out and it appears to be REALLY similar to the 8100. Maybe I'll have to look at that and discuss my options with Verizon since I've had so many problems with the 8100 and no one seems to want to listen (the techs @ ...

I too, am wondering what the blue dot on the box means. I could only assume it means that it has the V04 update on it, but that is only an assumption. I would like to know if anyone could tell us for sure.

Yeah...and I didn't think to ask. Rather, I didn't want to ask b/c the lady wasn't being so nice. She was acting "exasperated" since I was exchanging yet another phone that had the volume problem. In fact, she had never helped me before, she was just irritated that she had to do a little extra work with me and my "problem phone".

Yeah, so I never asked her what the blue dot meant...

I went in one day to try and find a 8100 without the camera delay. One of the techs and I went through about 20 phones, and they all had the delay. We chose them at random out of the phones he had spent the past week updating with v04 software. He had applied the blue dots to all those to identify the updated models. They may be coming to the stores already updated now, I don't know, but this was a week or two after the update first came out. Oh yeah, we checked all those phones, and they all had the camera delay. The lenght of the delay seemed to be consistent, but it was there. Maybe the update addressed it, but didn't completely fix it.

I had to get a refurbished phone. My original had a HUGE delay. The 2nd phone still had a little bit of a delay...but it is a lot better than the first. I guess I got lucky...not much delay and no volume problem *knock on wood*

Did your "original" have Version 4 software? How about the refurbished?

The I had to have both updated with the version 4. The first phone had the same amount of delay with and without the update. The 2nd phone had the same amount of delay with and without the update but the refurb was sooooooooo much better. I get the static for ringtones with the shuffle on the mp3...CS keeps telling me to take it into the techs and get a new phone...but I wont do it because I know it will not fix it (my friend has has 6 new phones all with the same problem) and I dont want to give up my phone for a phone with the camera delay again. Also mine is rarely grainy, the only time it is is with extremely low light.

Hmmm, how strange is that?! It's like buying a pair of jeans - you can pick up the same size in the same brand and they both fit differently.

Oh well...
