it seems way to close to the 8100 for it to be another verizon phone...you probably wont see the "next generation" phones until we get closer to the Spring Electronic show...

I agree but they were previewing the 8100 before the 8000 was even out yet. That was last fall. Although the 8100 never made it to the market untill almost a year later.
