My phone is paired to the usb adaptor(computer) now whut
i paired the comp and phone and its in my phone as a paired device but how do i use the bitpim. because when i try and serch fer the phone it says it cant find it.

When you have Bitpim up on your screen, go to edit at the top, down to settings, make sure under phone type you have the 8100 chosen, and under com port, choose auto. This may do it.

Hmmm....trying to think here. Are you sure your up and running with your USB adapter?

ya my phone says its paired and i got my bluetooth places folder open with the audio modem and port rdy to connect i tried connecting them but still i couldent use the bitpim.
i also tried to detect the phone with bitpim and it coudlent find it.

hmm im using 0.7.37 bitpim thats the new one right is that maybe the problem??? which one are u guys using and it something wrong with the version im using.

I'm using 0.7.37 and all is ok here. I wish I could help more. I know how frustrating that is.
