LG VX-8100

So i went ahead and downloaded the 3g converter to convert my mpeg videos to 3g, i downloaded it from ImToo.com and got the version that only lets you convert the first 2 minutes. So i went ahead and did that, i also made sure i grabbed the right files(they become different files in a temp folder after converting them) and i put them into the my_flix folder and put my sim card back into my phone and once again they did not show up. So what i'm asking is, is there a better free converter out there? or am i doing something wrong? The amount of KBs in the videos are showing in my memory usage, but my_flix is showing "no contents available"...
