i was wondering if someone could tell me how to upload the mp3's from my computer to my phone. i saw that you have to change the format of the mp3 but i dont know to what or what to do after that...so if someone could let me know that would be great. also i havent bought the phone yet but my contract is up on the 18th so i was wondering if there are any kind of accessories ill need to do any transfering. and my last question is that if i wanted to crop out a certain section of an mp3 and use it as a realtone, are there any programs out there that will help me make my own ringtones by letting me choose what part of the song i want for my phone? if so could you please list them with a website i could find them at. thank you soo much for ...

Now that all the phones have the newer version on them, you don't need to change from .mp3, but you do need to get a miniSD memory card and a card reader to put them on. Also, you can use Bitpim: http://bitpim.sourceforge.net/#download to get ringtones, and yes, you can choose just the portion of the song you want as your ringtone.

First off there is NO need to change anything on your MP3's.

You need a MiniSd card...I have a SanDisk.

You need a Card Reader

Make sure that the phone you get has the Version 4 software installed. (unless 5 is out by then)

As for the ringtone question I am not part of the BitPim Generation but here is the site for the sofware that allows you to munipulate the phone into allowing you to make your own ringtones.

Yes, it will let you crop your MP3's and put them onto your phone, but to do so you need either a data cable or a Bluetooth USB adapter to connect your phone to your PC to do the transfer.
