Not sure if this is a phone specific question or a carrier specific one. But I have the 8100 and Verizon, and cannot figure out how to bookmark a favorite. Everytime I go to Favorites, it wants me to type the long URL. Is that the only way?

If you look at the bottom of the favorites page there is a link called "add to favorites". Click on that and make a nick for your site then type the URL and its saved. Good Luck

So you still have to type the URL, even though you are currently on it?

I'm sorry, I'm still confused. Do you have to type the url the first time or not. If I go thru the menus on Verizon's home page and work my way to ESPN, can I just click something that adds that to favorites, or do I have to look at the address the first time and type it in to favorites?

I have always written it down and then typed it in favs. I dont think there is a way to save str8 to favs.

thanks. Seems really dumb that they would not make that a feature. I have always done that on my sprint phone.

Open your phone, press the middle "Ok" button on your d pad once, type the service code (000000), press option 8, then option 4, then u can set your homepage to whatever u like and dont even have to deal with the default verizon one.

That's good for changing the home page, but there seems to be no way to bookmark easily. That's my problem. Not sure if it is a phone issue or a browser issue.
