LG stands for...

LG stands for LUCKY GOLDSTAR. The name used to be just Goldstar but they added Lucky and now I believe they are trying to change it to "Lifes Good" Shocked? You remember Goldstar. That brand in Ames, Kmart, Hills, Gold Circle, Wal Mart and the rest of the so called discount dept stores. The TVs that we all walked by laughing at that used to cost 13 cents...a nickel with the mail in rebate. The VCR's that were a quarter after the 9 cent rebate. Remember how we used to walk by all high and mighty laughing with our friends saying..."Who actually buys that crap?" as we went to the Sony and Hitachi shelf. Now look at us all sporting Goldstar phones on our hips and bragging about it. Oh how the times have changed. 😁

Maybe in a few years we will all be wanting a phone made by jensen, maxent or rca 🤣 I was glad when they changed from lucky goldstar to life's good. I used to hate selling an lg 510 and the cusktomer was like who makes this, and i said lucky goldstar!

LMAO...funny thing is if I had known this before I bought this phone or my 8000 I most likely would be using a Moto or Kyocera. 😲

What's even funnier is that as crappy as their VCR's, TV's, and stuff are/were they have the same innerts as some of the big boys.

Hey, and isn't LG like the shizz nitt in other countries for their hi-tech appliances? Seems like I read where they're like top dog for electronic gizmos in refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves.

it is definately life's good(formerly lucky goldstar) and their appliances are top notch and they are defiantely not on the low end of electronics. Stop over at bestbuy and check some of their washer/dryers or the tv's. Their crap is expensive.

They are the first in the US to put a 13" LCD tv in the door of a side by side fridge. They also have wireless LCD monitors for computers... Thats right.. wireless monitors. Ive heard rumors about them working on a wireless HD LCD TV

Nope I do not discriminate I have had all different brands of phones. I just saw an opportunity and went for it 😁 If you can think what Moto stands for please by all means let us know. I have a moto phone and my other line is an LG 3200 which is very simple but a fantastic operating phone. I guess that is what makes it so great no bluetooth, mobile web camera etc....... 😁 The more features added the more problems. Believe me, the E815 has it's own problems so does every phone. What makes a phone great depends on who is using it. Different strokes for different folks.

i dunno, i tried, its much harder than LG

In all actuality I don't have a big problem with Motorola, I'm an agent and the 815 is one of the models I prefer to sell. I do have extreme dislike for the v265 and v60/65 though....
