8100 mp3 player
I have been looking through the site and can't find the answer. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I'm ready to scream. I have the miniSD card and a card reader. I was all pumped up to get some mp3s on the phone. But I can't find the folder for mp3s? I see the folder for My pix, my flix and my sounds, but that is it? WHat do I need to do to get the My MP3 folder? HELP ME!!!

U need to take your phone back to the verizon store and get a software update. When the phone was originally released the mp3 player was disabled since then the release of the update enable the mp3 player.

If you already have V04 on your phone, format the card on your phone then put it back into your reader and see it it shows the MY_MP3 folder.

if you don't know how to format you can just slap the card in and power cycle the phone, that will add the mp3 folder if you have version 4, if you are not sure here is how you check, menu, setting&tools, 4.system, 3.device info, 2.sw verison, the last number should be a 4, if it a one you need the update 😢
