Anyone heard about the Motorola Razr V3c that is *supposed* to be coming to VZW?

I'm about ready to give up on this 8100 and the volume problem and MP3 Static problem when I have no service.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been having the infamous fluctuating volume in the earpiece" problem. Not cool. Also, when the phone is in an area of No Service, my MP3s won't play. All I hear is LOUD static. I had a post on here about that and all but ONE person said they don't have that problem. That sucks because other than that, I really love this phone!

But what good is it if you can't hear the person on the other end half the time?

hate to say it but if you get the moto you will probably just be opening another can of worms, they don't have the best tract record for sofware glitches when launching new products.

Oh no! I'm just getting fed up with all this phone glitch junk that keeps going on. Think there will ever be a glitch-free phone? 🤣

I just read some reviews on the Razr. It did not do well. My son is considering a Razr, but first I need to get him off of Cingular. Kids,,,you can't tell them anything.

yup, the last glitch free moto was the v60C everything after that was down hill. All carriers have had issues as of late! it is like the more crap they pile in them then the more crap that can go wrong

yeahright,

I agree!! I know I made a post on this previously and a few people answered. May I ask you to try playing your MP3s in Standalone Mode? Could you let me know if they play (you may even want to test it further by keeping it in Standalone Mode and turning the phone off and on and also playing around with a few other things while in Standalone Mode before testing the MP3 player) or if you get static (like I do).

I hope the volume issue gets fixed (as well as my MP3 static problem).

Thanks!

tried it, no static even turned phone off and on again, no problems. I have had never had any of the problems most people are reporting on this phone and have had almost 0 complaints from any customers who bought them here. I think there might have been some bad batches out there or something. You might try having them flash it again if you haven't yet.

Thanks. Yeah, they've re-flashed the software, swapped it out for a brand new one (several times) and I keep getting the same problems.

Thanks for checking, though!
