Verizon is Best
I know everyone on this forum and others are having problems with there phones and others things, but I just have to tell you all something. I have had Verizon/GTE for almost 15 years. I have friends that have the other providers and they still wish they had the coverage I have for Verizon. Remember this is a service to talk to other people not use camera's, video recorders, and mp3's. Verizon is the best at talking to people. Do not leave Verizon you will be sorry (and no I don't work for them). Jus t a FYI I was talking to a customer service guy and he told me Verizon is growing at 27,000 new people every month thats ALOT of people. if you ask me there doing great, as a matter of fact please leave so there will be better service for me. You're right - this is a service to talk to other people. So how do you release a phone with a 'known' volume problem? And the only reason they still have the number of customers is the network. Cingular would romp over VZW if they had the same amount of towers. GSM is a lot clearer than CDMA.

Your right the phone might have a volume problem, so get a different phone. i have plenty of friends with Cingular, it sucks, go to cingular then. Gsm might claim to be more advance but it's a matter of what works better and that right now is CDMA. This all a matter of opinion of course and no provider would make it if one was the best everyone has to have its down side, you just have to make the best choice for you and for what area your in.
