So I've downloaded the newest version of Bitpim (8.01) and I'm wondering if it's as easy as it looks. I'm waiting on my cable and card reader. Wondering if you literally just create clips of your mp3's in the ringtones folder and then click "send phone data" and poof, the ringtones are now in your phone. Also, can send them straight to your mini sd card or do they have to go straight to the phone?

Pretty much. They go to the phone, not the card.

Biptim just added a newer version that allows you to see files on the card.

Post again when your cable arrive. After buying a cable without a driver and my unsuccessful attempts at finding a driver I finally went with the Bluetooth option. I followed Mary's advice and instructions and I am up and running. If your cable works please post where you bought it. My kids have the VX7000 and I want to buy a cable for them to use Bitpim...
