R U KIDDING ME??? 39 pictures, lmao
So i cant figure out why everyone is boasting about all the memory on this phone, and i have only taken and saved 39 pictures, and when i go to take the 40th it said memory full, and wont even let me snap a shot! r u kidding me? I just upgraded from the LG VX 7000 and i had 176 pictures saved to the phone, 30 videos 15 sec long each, and over 30 ringtones.... and this phone cant hold 40 pictures???? i know there is expandable memory with mini sd card but what is going on here? does anyone have any answers or input?

The phone has plenty of memory but the retarded interface designers though i would be a good idea to limit the amount of memory u can use in specific places. e.g your phone only allows 4 mb of memory to be used for pixs, even though u might have plenty of "free" memory left in your phone. Pretty f'en stupid and frustrating i know 👿

also remember that your 7000 wasn't 1.3 megapixel so the pix took up less space. I think they designed it with idea you would use a mini sd.

yeah, you can lower the resolution and fit quite a few more. i'm kinda ticked at the way they have the memory allocated also. realize that we haven't tapped into 10% of the total memory yet because its set up for the Music On Demand service which is soon to be released(for better or worse) best solution is the mini sd, free transfer to your pc also.

Yea It sucks when the allocate the memory and cripple the phone like that! IF someone wants to fill up there 512mb of memory with music on demand then let them, and if someone wants to use more on pictures, then LET THEM! Damn put a 1.3 megapixel camera, then boast about 512 memory, have me buy the phone for damn near $300 and then come to found out i can only hold 35 pictures without "expanding the memory" haha that is the memory not expandable. Ne ways back to the point, is there anyway to get around this?

😢 If you are really worried about storage space why don't you simply save your pics to the MiniSD... 😲 I know you want Mp3's and all, but sacrifice 1 mp3 and you would have space enough for 30 or so more pics (depending on Resolution)... 🙄 Personally, I save all the pix/flix/sounds/movies/etc... to my 1 GB miniSD and I have over 100 mp3's, a few full length movies, Skate/Snowboard Vids, Seinfeld Eppie's, Fastlane Episodes and other TV shows, as well as over 560 pics on the card with room to spare.
As far as "unlocking" the reserved memory on the phone, I don't think there is a Hack for that. I believe Verizon was going to "unlock" it when they release a software update to go along with the release of the MOD (Music On Demand...

Yea thanks for NOTHING broken toy, im gonna report u to the moderator for not helping, lol jk! 🤣 Any ways that is tight that you have movies on ur mini SD.. When you play them on your phone do they run smooth? And how is the volume, can you hear ok? How do you get the Dvd onto your Mini SD? Can you use your own DVD and burn it on to your computer, then transfer it, or can you use a application such as BitTorrent? OR do you need special high tech gear to convert it to the proper file to fit on your mini SD? Thanks for the info.. give me sum links and stuff.. ttyl
