I know the Cingular T-Mobile networks are horrible. Has anyone had any experience with the Sprint phones/network lately? I am tired of the VZW BS and promises to update this phone, as well as others, especially the BT. I have tried several phones and headsets and nothing really works right. As I stated in a previous thread, the H700 worked great for 2 weeks. Now nothing but static (maybe because I dropped It. Phone itself, fades in-and-out (vol) as well as occasional static. This is my 5th phone. I have tried the Moto 815 and the Samsung 950. BT also sucks as well as voice dialing. BT has to be a network issue - if the phone has a static or vol problem, then the BT will have the same problem. When I experienced the BT problem, I switched to ...

Well, you gotta understand that an update IS in the works. Also keep in mind that VZ won't let ANYTING before they've beaten the dead horse testing new software before they roll it out to thousands of phones.
If it worked great for 2 weeks but is now giving you trouble (after dropping it) I would say don't blame VZW for that one. Granted you've had issues with previous phones, but I'm just not certain how some of you seem to be so unlucky with phones. I got the first 8100 that came into my store, it works great. I have a Jabra BT500 I use with it, works great also. Just plain bad luck I guess...

I have the BT500 also, but the voice dial is not as accurate as the H700. As far as the update, I know it is in the works, but what will it update? My beef is that if VZW really cared about their customers as they claim, this should have been the #1 issue in v04. They claim 'we never stop working for you'. They refused, as well as LG, even to admit there were problems. I don't know if BT version 1.1 can by updated to 1.2 via software, but they need to do something, since a good deal of the states now have cell phone bans.

Let me just add, I have had no problems with my phone, I have the HF800 bluetooth speakerphone and it works great. There is no way it is the network because bluetooth never make a network connection when connecting to each other. Can't blame the network sorry. Also Verizon is so BIG of a company that has millions of customers and make hundreds of millions of dollars they honestly don't have time to fix every little problem as fast as they come up. Come be realistic. Just to put into perspective Verizon gets about 27,000 new contracts per month, that is alot of people to serve. They have the best service so bear with them or leave.

When I say network, I mean the phone. There are times I have gotten an echo on BT and switching to the phone I got the same echo. And I have stayed with them. This is my 5th phone since it came out. My gripe is the Volume, BT echo and camera delay should have been fixed immediately, v04, instead about worrying about the MP3. They should get their priority straight. I think it's more important to get a good working phone than an MP3 player. And by the way, I never had BT problems till the update. 😎

They told me the other day that the "echo" was the network, not any equipment I have and there was nothing they could do.
I wasn't happy

Possible. I have had it with my last 3 LG phones, though. I had the a950 for about a week and didn't get it. It's weird. I only get it with i person in NY, phone as well as BT.

Bear with them or leave eh? Try that, and watch them hit you with a $175 penalty per line (I have 4), until your contract runs out, a contract I might add that is continually and automatically renewed every time you make even the slightest change to your plan. That's a joke.

You gotta love Verizon's arrogant attitude. I can't wait for the day when it comes back and nites them in the butt.
