k everyone i was reading thru these forums earlier while waiting for my account to be registered and i was reading about some cable that is bitpim ?? wat does that mean? and wat exactly is the cable called ? i wana look on ebay for one so i need to know

bitpim is a program, the cable is what links the bitpim program (on your comp) to your phone. Do a search for "data cable lg 8100" on ebay and you should find the cable there. And yes it will allow you to make your own mp3 ringers.

You can also connect with a Bluetooth USB adapter, also found on ebay. Here is the link to download Bitpim and it also has a huge help section which may be of assitance to you also.
